Rude Parents Told Me Not To Eat On The Plane—So I Taught Them A Lesson

So I turned to the flight attendant and said — loud enough for half the plane to hear:

“Actually, I will be having something. I’m a Type 1 diabetic, and if I don’t eat soon, I could pass out. Are they going to handle a medical emergency?”

The flight attendant’s eyes widened, and without missing a beat, she nodded and handed me my snack box and Coke.

The parents sputtered, trying to object, but she shut them down professionally:
“Unless you’ve booked the entire row, ma’am, she has every right to eat.”

I slowly unwrapped my protein bar and opened the snack box right then and there. Took my sweet time, too. The kid started whining almost immediately.

To make it even better, the flight attendant came back ten minutes later and offered me a free meal “for the inconvenience.”

As for the couple? They spent the next few hours shifting uncomfortably while their kid whined and complained — and I enjoyed my snacks with zero guilt.

Some people need to learn: your entitled child isn’t the center of the universe — especially not at 35,000 feet.
